Rowing is taking off in North Carolina and we want your crew’s stay to be the best possible for your spring training camp. The City of High Point has invested heavily in rowing facilities with four new 100 foot rowing docks installed since 2019. The High Point Visitors Bureau recently funded a buoyed race course to assist crews in monitoring their performance during training.
Your spring break training camp in High Point will have your rowers ready for the coming spring racing calendar. We will allocate you free trailer space out of the wind for your boat storage.
Oak Hollow Lake has been selected as the venue each year for the North Carolina Rowing Championships held in April which draws 500 boat entries. It is also the host venue for the High Point Autumn Rowing Festival, which has drawn international crews such as the University of Cambridge, Oxford, the Ukraine Olympic team and even Team USA.
